Alexandre Valencourt

Bio

Alexandre Valencourt is a French art director, photographer and filmmaker based in Montréal. A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière, he has spent more than two decades refining a cinematic visual language where light becomes substance and framing, narrative. His images blend the discipline of haute-couture ateliers with an auteur’s instinct for atmosphere.

Campaigns for Chanel, Moncler, Saint Laurent and Apple show his agility across fashion, luxury and innovation—always anchored by a signature touch: precise staging, rhythmic pacing and colour work calibrated as emotional dialogue. The same exactitude informs his editorials for Vogue Italia, W, M Le magazine du Monde and Dazed, whether he is sculpting a couture silhouette or capturing an intimate portrait.

Working worldwide from his Montréal studio, Valencourt leads compact senior crews equally at ease under controlled studio light or in demanding natural settings. Every project he personally directs is built to become part of a brand’s long-term visual legacy—designed to resonate long after the season has passed.
